The website operator has a justified interest in the storage of cookies for the technically error-free and optimised provision of its services. Analysis tools and tracking

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) f DSGVO. With the tracking measures used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and continuous optimization of our website. We also use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests represent legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 f DSGVO.

Google Analytics

We have integrated the Google Analytics component (with anonymization function) on our website.

Google Analytics is a web analysis service. Web analysis is the collection, compilation and evaluation of data about the behavior of visitors to websites. A web analysis service collects, among other things, data about the website from which a data subject came to a website (so-called referrer), which sub-pages of the website were accessed or how often and for how long a sub-page was viewed.

The operating company of the Google Analytics component is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

Google uses the data and information obtained, among other things, to evaluate the use of our website, to compile online reports for us showing the activities on our website, and to provide other services related to the use of our website.

Google Analytics sets a cookie in your system.  Each time you call up one of the individual pages of this website on which a Google Analytics component has been integrated, your Internet browser is automatically prompted by the respective Google Analytics component to transmit data to Google for the purpose of online analysis. As part of this technical procedure, Google obtains knowledge of personal data, such asyour IP address, in order to trace the origin of visitors and clicks. By means of the cookie, personal information, such as the time of access, the place from which an access originated and the frequency of visits to our website by you, is stored. Each time you visit our website, this personal data, including your IP address, is transferred to Google in the USA. This personal data is stored by Google in the United States of America. Google may pass on this personal data collected via the technical process to third parties.

You can prevent the setting of cookies at any time by means of an appropriate setting of the Internet browser used and thus permanently object to the setting of cookies.

Furthermore, you have the option to object to the collection of data generated by Google Analytics and related to the use of this website as well as the processing of this data by Google and to prevent such processing. To do this, you must download and install a browser add-on under the link https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Further information and the applicable data protection provisions of Google can be found at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/. Google Analytics is explained in more detail under the link https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/analytics/.

  • Browser type and browser version
  • used operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Hostname of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request
  • IP address
  • This data will not be merged with other data sources.

In the case of important changes, for example in the scope of our services or in the case of technically necessary changes, we will use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The data entered during registration will be processed on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal e-mail notification to us is sufficient for this purpose. The legality of the data processing already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us as long as you are registered on our website and will subsequently be deleted. Legal retention periods remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent necessary for the establishment, content or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures. YouTube is used in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 Para. 1 lit.

This page uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into its browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

For this purpose, the browser you are using must connect to Google’s servers. This enables Google to know that your IP address has been used to access our website. The use of Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online services. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO.

Due to our legitimate interests in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online service, the so-called “Facebook pixel” of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”), is used within our online service.

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able to determine the visitors of our online offer as a target group for the presentation of ads (so-called “Facebook ads”). Accordingly, we use Facebook pixels to display Facebook ads placed by us only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online offering or who have certain features (e.g. interests in certain topics or products that are determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called “custom audiences”). Using Facebook pixels, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads match the potential interest of users and are not annoying. Using Facebook pixels, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing if users were referred to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (known as “conversion”).

Facebook processes the data in accordance with Facebook’s data usage policy. Accordingly, general information on the presentation of Facebook ads is provided in the Facebook Data Usage Policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php. Specific information and details about Facebook pixels and how they work can be found in the help section of Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.

You may opt out of Facebook pixel collection and use of your information to display Facebook ads. To set what types of ads you see within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based ads there: https://www.facebook.com/help/568137493302217. The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are applied to all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

If you are logged in to Instagram, Instagram can assign this visit to our site to your Instagram account and thus link the data. The data transmitted by clicking the “Insta” button will be stored by Instagram. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection, its processing and use, as well as your rights in this regard and settings options for protecting your privacy, please refer to the Instagram privacy policy, which you can access via https://help.instagram.com/155833707900388.

Twitter

Our website uses so-called social plugins of the social network twitter.com (“Twitter”). Twitter is operated by Twitter Inc.,795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Those web pages on our website that contain Twitter social plugins establish a direct connection with Twitter’s servers via your browser when you open them. This transmits to Twitter the information that you have accessed the page of our website containing the social plugin. If you are logged in to Twitter at this time, your visit to our pages and all of your interactions in connection with the social plugins (e.g. clicking the “Twitter” button) can be assigned to your Twitter profile and stored by Twitter. Even if you do not have a Twitter profile, it cannot be ruled out that Twitter will store your IP address.

With regard to the purpose and scope of the data collection as well as the processing and use of the data by Twitter, we refer to the Twitter privacy policy. There you will also find an overview of the settings options in your personal Twitter profile to protect your privacy and your related rights.

To prevent Twitter from collecting the above-mentioned data through your visit to our website, log out of Twitter before visiting our site. For this purpose, an informal communication by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried out until the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you entered in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to store it or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g. after processing your request has been completed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

8. Modification of our Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend this data protection declaration occasionally or as required so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or in order to implement changes to our services in the data protection declaration, e.g. when introducing new services. The new data protection statement will then apply to your next visit.
